Back story
Well you have
done very well for yourself. You not only have gained the villagers trust, you
found the author and got them back writing again. Granted you are having to
feed them your blood. Having married the author and you are living the good
life. That comes to a halt when you find out the villager painter died. Sigh!
Time to put on a new hat and become a painter!
Rules for
Challenge 3
1. No electrical items except a fridge, and a stove. Computers are
used in this Challenge. See approved items list.
2. All lights must be in candle form.
3. You need a toilet, sink, and a tub. No showers or shower tub
combo. See approved items list.
4. Pools must look like natural streams, ponds or lakes.
5. Your day starts at 5 A.M and ends at 6 P.M.
6. Your curfew is at 6 P.M no matter what world you are in.
7. Breaking curfew means you have to work an extra day
volunteering. If you don’t have
that as an option work an extra day at the community garden.
8.

9. You may have kids now.
10. Clothing must be as medieval as possible. No shorts for women.
Dresses and floor length skirts. They must wear some kind of boot or flat shoe.
Men must not wear shorts and keep it as medieval as possible. The must wear
boots.

*Activities & Skills- Meditation stools, Yoga mat, chess board, Bonsai tree, 16th
century monte vista globe, Painting easel, Pumpkin carving station, Wood
working table, Napri parlour organ, Grand piano, Dance floor (make it look
medieval), Violin (no electric ones), Bars (no electric ones), Private journal
(Parenthood), Bubbles, Fish bowls, Hotshot foosball table, Family bulletin
board (parenthood), Garden pots, The gift of fire, Bird feeder, Summer drink
tray, Planter boxes, Monkey bars, Whispering wishing well.
*Decorations- Try to keep it
as medieval as possible.
*Kids- Not needed in
this challenge.
*Lighting- Candles only.
*Electronics- You may only use
a computer. Keep sims off their phone.
*Appliances- Ice box vintage
refrigerator, Auld crow wood burning cook stove, Carbonette charcoal grill, Summer
drink tray, No electrical trash cans. No fire alarm or fire suppression system.
*Storage- Keep it as
medieval as possible. Toy boxes, Bookshelves, Storage trunks.
Mods and Custom
Content (CC)
You may use mods
to help with making the game play more medieval. McCommand is ok and you may
use CC to make the game play more medieval. I do not use mods or CC so you do
not have to use it unless you want to.
Setup/Create a
sim
You are using the
same setup and the same heir sim and spouse so there is no need to set up your
town again. If you have kids the same applies to them as it does for adult
sims. No shorts for both male and female sims. Females and males need to wear
flats or boots. Females must have dresses or floor length skirts. You may
choose your child’s aspiration and traits as long as it does not require
electrical items. See approved items list.
The Missing
Painter
You have learned from
a nobleman that the painter has died and now you must take over as painter
along with your other duties. Can you take on this new task? Or will you fail
your villagers?
Breakdown of
Challenge Goals
1.
You need to select the Painter
Extraordinaire aspiration.
2.
Max out painting skill.
3.
Sell paintings at the market
one day a week.
4.
Continue to fix broken items.
No handy man.
5.
You must volunteer once a week.
You need your phone for this. Disregard if you don’t have this option.
6.
You must work in the community
garden once a week.
7.
You must write in your journal
once a day.
8.
Allow your sim to age. No more
youth potion. Disregard if not using the youth potion.
9.
Pay bills.
10. You no longer can use a
computer but your spouse can to write books.
11.
You control all sims in your
household.
12. Your day starts at 5 A.M and
ends at 6 P.M
13. If anyone in your household
breaks curfew they must work an extra volunteer day or work in the community
garden.
14. You can only use what is on
the approved items list. No fire alarms or fire suppression system.
15. Keep your fridge stocked
with the produce you harvest.
16. Continue working on skills
from Challenge 1 & 2
17. You may have kids. See
setup/create a sim
18. You must work on all toddler
skills. See approved list
19. You must max out parenting.
20. Don’t forget your whims.
21. You cannot buy any rewards
for your heir.
22. You must let your vampire
spouse or vampire child drink from you. Disregard if you don’t have the vampire
pack.
23. Your kids cannot go to
school. You must buy homework books each day and one project each day. Do all
projects at least once. If your child goes to school and you could not stop
them no worries. But do you best to stop them from going.
24. You must let your heir sim
age up and die. Your first born will become the heir. If your heir dies before
your child ages up to a young adult your spouse must take over your duties
along with their own.
25. In order to pass on the
village to your heir you need $30,000.
26. You may continue playing
this as a legacy once your child is the new lord or lady or you can quit
playing.
